What we can help with.
Plastering & ceilings
Skimming, local repairs and board installation depend on the existing surface. Wall and ceiling rates use actual measured surface area, not room floor area.
Painting & woodwork
Agree preparation, paint systems, colours and the areas being decorated. A room repaint package is an alternative to individual surface rates, not an extra charge.

Indicative ranges excluding VAT. Labour only unless stated; final scope and any applicable VAT must be confirmed in your written quote. Small standalone tasks may be subject to minimum attendance charges.
Engineered timber — straight lay
£30–45 / m²Labour on prepared subfloor; timber, adhesive/underlay, trims and preparation extra.
Engineered timber — herringbone
£45–65 / m²Labour on prepared subfloor; borders, timber, adhesive and preparation extra.
Self-levelling compound application
£15–25 / m²Labour for a prepared sound subfloor and typical 3–5 mm application; primer and compound extra.
Wall skimming
£14–22 / m²Labour on sound prepared walls; measured wall surface area, not floor area. Plaster and preparation materials extra.
Ceiling skimming
£17–27 / m²Labour on sound prepared ceiling; plaster, mesh, overboarding and access equipment extra.
Walls — two finish coats

Does floor fitting include levelling?
No. Preparation is itemised separately because the work and materials vary with the existing substrate.
Is paint included in the labour rates?
No. Paint, flooring and plaster materials are additional where the guide says labour only.
